Our annual Thanksgiving luncheon at Harborside was today. Here's our food "table" (the tops of filing cabinets) and our dessert table.

Lots of different foods. I'm so picky but I found enough to eat :)

Another free product in the mail! This one is a hair thickening spray. It does make make my hair thicker but does nothing for shine or softness. I guess I can't have it all...

The
"Today" show! Though it is the weekend, I finally made it to see this show in person.





The reason for the visit? Seal was performing. Unfortunately, he was inside and we were outside. But, Lester Holt did do a segment out in the cold.







Nonetheless, Seal obviously loves me. We were waving back and forth & I was able to take video of the tail end of that but can't upload it here. :( See Seal -- he's there in an all-white suit preparing to perform.

This is an unfortunate example of how not every product display can be reused. This was originally intended for some type of shampoo. With highlighted phrases such as "smells great" and "dries in a flash," Stop 'N Shop probably shouldn't have stocked this display with tampons. Just a thought.

I got another surprise winning in the mail! I love this leave-in conditioner. It leaves my hair very soft. Although, it doesn't help in the much needed volume department.

Daylight Savings Time has definitely kicked in. Here is the view now as I leave work.

And, as a side note, I don't think NY & MI should be in the same time zone. There's about an hour difference in the time the sun sets.

My mom mailed me a goodie bag for Halloween. There were little gifts and some candy inside. Also, my aunt sent along a makeup bag for my purse (that I had asked for). I like getting things in the mail, if you can't tell :)

My cousin took this picture of a speed limit sign in Scotland last year. I liked it so much, I asked her for a 5x7 copy of it. I finally got it framed and put up on my wall. It's cute, no?

Back in August, Allure magazine had four daily contests every week day. I entered a lot of them! Today, I received this makeup thing in the mail. (I'm guessing it's bronzer, as my skin tone is not that dark.) Very exciting and a complete surprise because they didn't notify me that I had won anything. It just showed up in the mail! :)
