Again at my aunt & uncle's house today. Laura came over to help me make these invitations for my sister's baby shower. My aunt Karen helped too. We ran out of white ribbon. But that's the last step before I can mail them out!!

Tonight, I went to my aunt & uncle's house for dinner & a movie ('The Departed'). My cousin Laura stopped by during the last half of the movie. These are her lovely boots. I asked her if they were made for walking. She said, "No, these boots are made for shoving up people's a$$es." And without hesitation, her dad piped in, "Good thing they've got a pointy toe."

This is me sorting my laundry so that I can take 2 loads to do at Lisa's house. Isn't she nice? She saves me the $3.00 per load I'd have to pay if I did it in my building. In case you were wondering, I did 1 load of darks & 1 load of lights (combined w/some of Lisa's lights). Good times :)

Today, after my 11-hour work day (with no break), I came home and immediately did yoga on my yoga mat (with block) to a DVD I got from Netflix. I only lasted about 32 minutes...then it was time to watch the end of American Idol :)

Tonight Amy was unavailable for our weekly Winking Lizard dinner. So, I decided to try this new pizza. It's shaped like home plate. I didn't realize it'd be so huge! It's going to last me about 6 more meals...it wasn't even that good.

Today was a gorgeous day! And, I tried some new things in Cleveland Heights. First is cinnamon spice iced tea from Osiyo. Second is the yummy gelato (peanut butter) & sorbet (blackberry) from an Italian ice cream parlor.

Another multiple-picture post. Tonight, some friends from work and I went to a Japanese restaurant for dinner. I must give Grace major props for these pictures because I was too chicken to actually take them (since we didn't ask the chef's permission). Just looking at these pictures makes me want to eat some broccoli.

This is the icing garden that is currently drying on my table. Today in cake decorating class, I made pansies, daffodils, daisies, roses and whatever that fifth flower is :) out of royal icing. They will be on my cake next week as a bouquet in a basket.

Today I went shopping with Amy to look for a TV stand for her new flat screen TV to go in her new apartment. This stand is at Value City Furniture. She's still mulling it over, but I really like it & think she should get it!

I tried using my slow cooker for the first time today. But since there is only one setting, this is what came out of it...not quite how mom used to make it, but it was still edible. Other than being really dry, it was OK. I won't be saving the leftovers.

Monday night is my weekly dinner night with Amy at Winking Lizard. We always get the same thing (small white bread pizza w/black olives) and usually have the same waiter (Rory).

And, with this shot, you can definitely tell I'm not a photographer! But, in all fairness, I took this from across the street, in the turn lane, while driving, turned around.

Today, I had dinner at my cousin Lisa's house. Again, I couldn't choose just one photo! The first is my second cousin Madison (8) giving her brother Clayton (13) a massage. She loves giving them and has a log where she keeps track of how many she has given.

Today was my last class of my PhotoShop course at Tri-C. This is a shot of my computer screen after I had way too much fun with all the ridiculous things you can do! (note: I used the plural word of Fisherman because I went crazy with the cloning tool) Isn't technology fun? :)

I spent a lot of time today making 3 kinds of icing for my cake decorating class: buttercream, royal, and color flow. Now, I'm even happier we got this stand mixer for my mom for Christmas!
