This is the view I see between getting off the elevator and heading into the door at the office. When I first saw this building, there were only windows installed about half-way up. Only recently did I learn it is a Trump Tower. Eh.
Here's the results of what I packed up tonight. Well, I shouldn't say what *I* packed up. Really, I pulled stuff out of the kitchen, handed it to Vanessa and she made it all fit! What a great co-worker :)
I accomplished one of my long-standing goals: ice skate in Central Park. Though, not how I imagined it, I still had a lot of fun. 
Our company holiday party was tonight, held at Barolo in Lower Manhattan. Which holiday are we celebrating? Well, all the ones that happened in December, of course :)
I got the keys to my new place today. I went over there and spent about 2 hours cleaning every possible surface area of the bathroom. Now it's not just health-department clean, it's "Monica-clean." :)
Happy birthday, Lou! My brother-in-law turns 33 today. I can't be there to celebrate, but I'm sure he's just loving the paper shredder I got for him! :) 
Before we went to celebrate Ariel's birthday (which was 2 days ago), she finally gave me my birthday present: dying my hair. We didn't complete the job, but we tried to get the red out and more brown in. Additionally, she trimmed my bangs ... way too short -- but that's my own fault. Oh well.
Marabeth is engaged! Yay for her. July won't come soon enough :)

I ran an errand in the City, for my friend Emily. Along the way, I came across this scene in Union Square. I wish I had the time/cash to stop, but I don't.
